Penguins at Work is a small studio building Wizardtopia, a wizard capture-the-flag game. Development, build servers, and the office thermostat are all managed by our resident penguin operations team.

A space for short gameplay experiments that may become full projects. Our QA process includes a standard fish-based incentive program for the operations team.
We are planning additional projects beyond Wizardtopia, including cooperative adventure concepts and creator-focused tools.
Who runs the place
Penguins at Work is an independent game studio focused on competitive and cooperative fantasy experiences, currently building Wizardtopia. Our long-term plan is to grow from one flagship game into a portfolio of multiplayer and single-player projects.
Day-to-day development, build infrastructure, and office facilities are managed by our resident penguin operations team, in line with standard studio practice. Human staff retain oversight of creative direction and publishing decisions; penguins retain oversight of everything involving cold storage.
